Die Chartreuse ist ein voralpines Gebirgsmassiv aus Kalkstein in den nördlichen französischen Alpen. Das Massiv, dessen höchster Gipfel die Chamechaude mit einer Höhe von 2082 m ist, liegt in den Départements Savoie und Isère. Es wird geografisch den Chaînes Subalpines Septentrionales und geologisch den Französischen Kalkalpen zugeordnet. Das recht dünn besiedelte Berggebiet steht unter Naturschutz .
