Der Wald von Fontainebleau in Frankreich ist eines der größten zusammenhängenden Waldgebiete Westeuropas. Er ist nach der in seiner Mitte liegenden Stadt Fontainebleau benannt. Die Maler der Schule von Barbizon fanden viele ihrer Bildmotive im Wald von Fontainebleau. Seit 1996 steht der Wald von Fontainebleau auf der Vorschlagsliste Frankreichs zum UNESCO-Welterbe.
