Aus den riesigen Wäldern der Vogesen ragt in 664 m Höhe der legendäre Rocher de Dabo hervor. Der Felsen war eine keltische Kultstätte und wurde von einer mittelalterlichen Burg überragt, die 1690 auf Befehl von Ludwig XIV. zerstört wurde. Die heutige Kapelle ist Papst Leo IX. gewidmet, einem Kind des Landes. Der Rocher de Dabo bietet einen Panoramablick auf eine noch unberührte Natur. Der Felsen ist das ganze Jahr über zu sehen, aber der Zugang zur Plattform ist in der Winterzeit reglementiert.
Von April bis Oktober ist der Zugang zur Plattform und zur Kapelle kostenpflichtig.
