Der Football Club Girondins de Bordeaux ist ein französischer Fußballverein aus der südwestfranzösischen Stadt Bordeaux, die am Gironde genannten Mündungstrichter des Flusses Garonne liegt – daher hat der Verein seinen Namen. Er wurde um den Jahreswechsel 1881/82 gegründet, seine Fußballabteilung dauerhaft allerdings erst 1919; seither gelangen sechs französische Meisterschaften und vier Pokalsiege. Der Name wechselte aufgrund von Fusionen und wegen eines Konkurses mehrfach, wobei aber stets der Namensbestandteil „Girondins“ erhalten blieb. Die Vereinsfarben sind Dunkelblau und Weiß.
