Das im Familienhaus von Henri Queuille untergebrachte Museum trägt das Gütesiegel "Maisons des Illustres" (Häuser der Erlauchten) und ist um eine doppelte Thematik herum organisiert: den Werdegang und das politische Wirken von Präsident Queuille (1884-1970) und die Geschichte der Résistance in der Haute-Corrèze.
Henri Queuille, eine wichtige politische Figur der Dritten und Vierten Republik, ist laut Jacques Chirac "der illustre unter den Corréziens". Als Nummer zwei von General de Gaulle in der provisorischen Regierung war er dreimal Ratspräsident und über dreißig Mal Minister. Er ist auch der Gründer der SNCF.
Anhand einzigartiger Sammlungen können Sie sich auch über den Widerstand in der Haute-Corrèze informieren, von den Anfängen des Krieges bis zu den ersten Netzwerken und von den Maquis bis zur Befreiung des Departements.
