Louis Théobald ist Bildhauer und Schmied. Er kam schon als Kind auf den Geschmack, als sein Vater, ein Landwirt, seine Werkzeuge auf ihrer Schmiede reparierte. Louis begeisterte sich für die Arbeit mit Eisen, die er von 14 bis 17 Jahren erlernte, bevor er sich auf eine künstlerische Suche in Afrika und Asien begab.
Im Jahr 2005 richtete er sein Atelier in Hargarten-lès-Laumesfeld ein.
Er fertigt Skulpturen an, die von der keltischen Mythologie inspiriert sind. Der Schmied nimmt an Ausstellungen und öffentlichen Vorführungen teil. Sein Wunsch: seine Kunst und den Respekt vor dem Material an zukünftige Generationen weiterzugeben.
