Val Maubrune liegt 8 km westlich von Guéret an der Landstraße D914. Der 3,2 Hektar große Garten, der als "bemerkenswerter Garten" eingestuft wurde und das Prädikat "planetarischer Garten" erhalten hat, ist in einem großen Tal unter Bäumen angelegt, in dem Licht und Schatten spielen. Die Pflanzen wurden so ausgewählt, dass sie in einem Klima der Sanftheit und der teilweise erhaltenen Wildheit miteinander harmonieren. Zahlreiche Bänke punktieren den Spaziergang und laden zum Ausruhen und Lesen ein. Das gesamte Ensemble wurde so gestaltet, dass es Überraschungen und Emotionen hervorruft.
