Der Brunnen wurde 2014 im Rahmen einer von der PNR Avesnois (Interreg-Projekt Trans-formation du patrimoine) organisierten Bildungsbaustelle renoviert und zeugt von der starken Präsenz des Wassers in der Gemeinde.
