Sie werden die Leidenschaft eines Mannes verstehen, dessen Leitmotiv ein altes Sprichwort aus dem Bearnais war: "Wer einen Baum gepflanzt hat, hat nicht umsonst gelebt". Der Park wurde von 1930 bis zu seinen letzten Jahren (1994) von Jean Bourdet auf seinem Land gepflanzt und umfasst 500 Bäume und Sträucher.
Dieser wilde Nadel- und Laubwald mit 130 ursprünglichen Arten aus der ganzen Welt bietet Ihnen ein anerkanntes wissenschaftliches Erbe und einen bemerkenswerten Naturstandort. Auf einem 1,2 km langen, für alle zugänglichen Rundweg werden Sie in 26 bemerkenswerten Bäumen um die Welt reisen: Libanonzedern, Monterey-Kiefern, Sumpfeichen, Sibirische Ulme, Virginische Plaqueminier, Sequoia, Eibe, Lärche, ..
