Datchet ist ein Dorf und eine Gemeinde im Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England, das am Nordufer der Themse liegt. Historisch Teil von Buckinghamshire und dem Stoke Hundred, wurde das Dorf schließlich nach Berkshire übertragen, gemäß dem Local Government Act von 1972.
Das Dorf entwickelte sich aufgrund seiner Nähe zu Windsor und dem Fährdienst, der es mit der Hauptstraße nach London über die Themse verband. Die Fähre wurde später durch eine Straßenbrücke am Fuß der High Street ersetzt, die dreimal neu gebaut wurde, eine Eisenbahnbrücke, die Windsor über den Fluss ansteuerte, und zwei Straßenbrücken über und unter dem Dorf.
