Nunburnholme ist ein Dorf und eine Gemeinde im East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Es liegt ungefähr 3 Meilen östlich der Marktstadt Pocklington. Die Gemeinde besteht aus dem Dorf Nunburnholme und dem Weiler Kilnwick Percy. Laut der Volkszählung im Vereinigten Königreich 2011 hatte die Gemeinde Nunburnholme eine Bevölkerung von 234, ein Rückgang gegenüber der Zahl von 253 bei der Volkszählung 2001.
Nunburnholme leitet seinen Namen von dem altenglischen Burnholme ab (“burn” = Quelle, Bach; “holm” = Insel in einem Fluss) und wurde im Mittelalter unterschiedlich als Brunnum, Brunham und Brunne geschrieben. Das Präfix “Nun-“ wurde einige Zeit vor dem 16. Jahrhundert in Bezug auf das Nonnenkloster Nunburnholme hinzugefügt.
