Lockton ist ein kleines Dorf und eine zivile Pfarrei im Ryedale-Distrikt in North Yorkshire, England. Es befindet sich in den North York Moors etwa 4 Meilen nordöstlich von Pickering. Nahegelegene Dörfer sind Newton-on-Rawcliffe und Levisham. Das Dorf wird oft als Basis von Touristen genutzt, die den nahegelegenen Dalby Forest besuchen.
Das Dorf wird im Domesday Book als Lochetun erwähnt, was vermutlich vom Altenglischen loca tūn abgeleitet ist und das Gehege von Lucas Leuten bedeutet.
