Rievaulx ist ein kleines Dorf und eine Gemeinde im Rye Dale innerhalb des Nationalparks North York Moors in der Nähe von Helmsley in North Yorkshire, England, und befindet sich in dem, was der Innenhof der Rievaulx Abbey war, in der Nähe des Flusses Rye. Die Bevölkerung der Gemeinde, die bei der Volkszählung 2011 erfasst wurde, lag bei weniger als 100. Details sind in der Gemeinde Sproxton, North Yorkshire, enthalten. Der Innenhof des Klosters enthielt Gebäude wie die Brauerei, die Bäckerei und das Gästehaus. Sein Name stammt von Rye + normannisch-französisch val oder valle = "Tal". Die alte lokale Aussprache war "Rivers" und änderte sich zu "Reevo", als die Bildung eine allgemeine Vertrautheit mit der französischen Sprache herstellte.
