Am 16. Januar 2013 um 8 Uhr morgens kollidierte ein Hubschrauber mit dem Baukran am St George Wharf Tower und stürzte auf eine viel befahrene Straße. Zwei Personen, darunter der Pilot des Hubschraubers, starben.
