Die Station wurde am 3. Juli 1865 von der Inverness and Perth Junction Railway eröffnet, als sie die Nebenstrecke von Ballinluig nach Aberfeldy eröffnete.
Im Nordwesten der Station befand sich ein Güterhof und eine Halle mit einem 5-Tonnen-Kran, der in der Lage war, lebendes Vieh, Pferdeboxen und Rinderwagen zu transportieren. Im Süden der Strecke, als sie die Station verließ, befand sich eine kleine Lokomotivhalle und eine Drehscheibe.
