Die Red Arrows sind das Kunstflugteam der britischen Luftwaffe Royal Air Force. Sie gelten als eine der besten Kunstflugstaffeln weltweit.
Bis 1964 gab es innerhalb der Royal Air Force eine Vielzahl von kleinen Kunstflugstaffeln. Darunter waren z. B. auch die Vorgänger als Black Arrows aufgetreten. Die Piloten betrieben hierbei den Kunstflug als Hobby in ihrer Freizeit, eine Tradition die bis in das Jahr 1920 zurückreicht. 1964 wurden die Einrichtung eines professionellen Kunstflugteams und die Auflösung der bestehenden Staffeln beschlossen.
