Paesana ist eine Gemeinde mit 2682 Einwohnern in der italienischen Provinz Cuneo , Region Piemont. Sie befindet sich am Oberlauf des Po, etwa 50 km südwestlich von Turin.
Sie ist seit 2006 Mitglied der Berggemeinschaft Comunità Montana Valli Po, Bronda e Infernotto, die 2008 zur Comunità Montana Valli Po, Bronda, Infernotto e Varaita erweitert wurde. Paesana ist als zentral gelegener Ort der Sitz dieses Gemeindeverbands.
