Der Imera Meridionale ist ein Fluss auf Sizilien. Er mündet bei Licata ins Mittelmeer, das dort Straße von Sizilien genannt wird.
Mit 144 km ist er der längste Fluss der Insel. Er entspringt im Norden derselben als Torrente Avanella am Pizzo Catarineci in den Monti Madonie und durchfließt in südlicher Richtung die Metropolitanstadt Palermo sowie die Freien Gemeindekonsortien Enna und Caltanissetta. Inoffiziell wird er auch Salso genannt, nach einem Nebenfluss, der sich nach 29 km mit ihm vereinigt.
