Das wunderbare Müllerthal ist Teil des Deutsch-Luxemburgischen Naturparks. Der Naturpark ist etwa 800 Quadratkilometer groß, davon liegen 350 in Luxemburg. Ein großer Teil dieses Gebiets wird Klein Luxemburg genannt, ein Name, der übrigens von niederländischen Soldaten, die über Jahrzehnte in dem benachbarten Echternach stationiert waren, vergeben wurde. Auch verschiedene Felsformationen, die in diesem Gebiet liegen, wurden von diesen Soldaten benannt, so gibt es Perecop, Tour Malakoff und Cipkapass.
