Die Burg liegt in einem etwa 31 Hektar großen Anwesen, das hauptsächlich im 19. Jahrhundert angelegt wurde. Der Parkwald wurde zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts im romantischen englischen Landschaftsstil umgestaltet. Der Gartenkomplex wird von einer langen Hauptachse getragen, die durch die prächtige Auffahrt zusätzlich betont wird. Auf dem Vorplatz befindet sich das Schatzhaus, in dem ein Restaurant untergebracht ist. Auf der anderen Seite steht das Kutschenhaus mit Pferdestall und Orangerie. Die Burg wird von einem Turm mit zwei Glocken gekrönt.
