Hilversum () ist eine ohne Stadtrechte bestehende Gemeinde in den Niederlanden mit 91.721 Einwohnern in der Provinz Nordholland.Hilversum liegt im Gooiland, einem Gebiet mit Heide, Wald, Wiesen und kleinen Seen. Die Stadt ist 30 km südöstlich von Amsterdam und 25 km nördlich von Utrecht gelegen. Sie hat drei Bahnstationen: Hilversum Noord, Hilversum und Hilversum Sportpark an der Strecke nach Lunetten.Autobahnen verbinden die Stadt mit Utrecht und Amsterdam .
