Diepenheim ist ein Städtchen in der Gemeinde Hof van Twente in der niederländischen Provinz Overijssel, gelegen an der Regge. Diepenheim ist ein Zentrum für bildende Kunst und bekannt für die Burgen und Herrenhäuser sowie die stilvoll angelegten Gärten und Parks. Diepenheim ist eine der acht mittelalterlichen Städte in Twente. Es entstand in der Herrschaft Diepenheim, die zunächst im Besitz der Herren von Diepenheim war und in der zweiten Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts durch die Heiratsallianz der Erbtochter Regenwice von Diepenheim in den Besitz der Grafen von Dahl gelangte. 1331 wurde die Herrschaft an den Bischof von Utrecht verkauft.
