Roodeschool ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Het Hogeland in der niederländischen Provinz Groningen, mit einer Einwohnerzahl von über 1100. Bis 1979 gehörte es zur Gemeinde Uithuizermeeden. Der Name Roodeschool soll von der alten Dorfschule abgeleitet sein, die rote Dachziegel hatte. Offensichtlich war dies etwas Besonderes, da ein ganzes Dorf danach benannt wurde.
