Waskemeer ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Ooststellingwerf im Osten Frieslands, Niederlande. Das Dorf wurde erstmals 1718 als Gr. Waske Meer erwähnt. Die Etymologie ist unklar. Waskemeer begann als ein Torfabbau-Dorf, nachdem der Haulerwijkstervaart 1756 von der Drachters Gesellschaft gegraben wurde.
