Die Lijnbaan ist eine verkehrsfreie Einkaufsstraße im Zentrum von Rotterdam und ist nach der Seilerei benannt, die hier zwischen 1667 und 1845 gelegen war. Die moderne Einkaufsstraße genießt nationale Bekanntheit. Es ist ein langer offener Durchgang nur für Fußgänger mit Geschäften auf beiden Seiten. Die Lijnbaan war die erste Einkaufs-Promenade in den Niederlanden und die erste autofreie Einkaufs-Promenade der Welt.
