Nach der Freisetzung (1944) hatte die Gereformeerde Kirche freigemacht die Zendingkirche als Kirchengebäude zur Verfügung. Man wollte jedoch natürlich ein eigenes Kirchengebäude. 1955 wurde das Grundstück gekauft, und 1959 konnte die Kirche in Gebrauch genommen werden. Das heutige Gebäude stammt jedoch aus dem Jahr 1978.
