Der Moskenstraumen, auch Mahlstrom oder Malstrom , ist ein Gezeitenstrom zwischen den Lofoten-Inseln Moskenesøy und Værøy in Norwegen.
Charakteristisch für den Strom sind starke Wasserwirbel. Er wurde damit zum Namensgeber für fiktive gefährliche Wasserwirbel in Legenden, Literatur, Malerei und Film, die oft übertrieben groß dargestellt werden.
