Elverum ist eine Kleinstadt und norwegische Kommune nordöstlich von Oslo im Fylke Innlandet, gelegen am Fluss Glomma im Østerdal. Neben Elverum gehören die Orte Jømna, Melåsberget, Sørskogbygda, Hernes, Nordskogbygda, Heradsbygd und Strandbygda zur Kommune.
Im Jahr 1927 fand in Elverum der sogenannte Julussakonflikt, ein Arbeitskonflikt der lokalen Flößer, statt.
