Czaplinek ist eine Stadt im Powiat Drawski in der polnischen Woiwodschaft Westpommern. Die Kleinstadt mit 7100 Einwohnern ist Sitz einer gleichnamigen Stadt-und-Land-Gemeinde.Die Stadt liegt in Hinterpommern in der Draheimer Seenplatte der Pommerschen Schweiz auf 138 m n.p.m. zwischen Drawsko und Czaplino , etwa 35 Kilometer südwestlich von Szczecinek , 70 Kilometer südlich von Koszalin und 110 Kilometer östlich von Stettin. Das Stadtgebiet ist von Wäldern umgeben.
