Die Paiva-Fußgängerbrücken sind eine Reihe von Holzwegen entlang des Paiva-Flusses in Arouca. Die Gehwege sind etwa 8,7 Kilometer lang, mit dem Bau weiterer 12 Kilometer geplant. Sie wurden entlang des linken Ufers des Paiva-Flusses im Douro-Einzugsgebiet zwischen der Espiunca-Brücke und dem Areinho-Strand errichtet und umfassen somit das als Paiva-Schlucht bekannte Gebiet und sind eines der Elemente des Arouca-Geoparks. Die Passadiços do Paiva sieht aus wie eine Szene aus einem Film.
Die Paiva-Fußgängerbrücken wurden von den World Travel Awards als das innovativste Tourismusprojekt Europas in der Kategorie Leading Tourism Development Project in Europe gewählt, die als die Oscars des Tourismus weltweit gelten.
