Diese Kapelle existierte wahrscheinlich bereits im Jahr 953 und wurde 1059 im Inventar der Güter des Klosters Guimarães erwähnt, allerdings unter dem Namen Kapelle des Heiligen Julian .
Der Innenraum hat einen unregelmäßigen Grundriss und verfügt über wunderschöne Fliesen aus dem 17. und 18. Jahrhundert sowie Kassettendecken, die mit biblischen Szenen oder Heiligenfiguren verziert sind.
Auf der Südseite der Kapelle befindet sich eine hohe Treppe mit einer Plattform darüber, auf der im Jahr 1940 ein Steinkreuz aufgestellt wurde und von der aus man ein wunderschönes Panorama auf die Stadt, die Flussmündung und das Meer hat.
