San Marino führte als erstes Land der Welt kostenlose Gesundheitsversorgung ein. San Marino ist die älteste noch bestehende konstitutionelle Republik der Welt. Mit einem Haushaltsüberschuss wird das Land als eine sehr stabile Wirtschaft betrachtet. Ebenso stolz sind die 30.000 San Marinezen auf ihre Nationalmannschaft, die den Spitznamen "I Titani" trägt. Die betreffenden Titanen bestehen aus einer bunten Mischung von Klempnern, Angestellten, Lehrern und Landwirten. Die Titanen haben sich noch nie für ein großes Turnier qualifizieren können. In den sozialen Medien hat das Titanenteam jedoch eine riesige Fangemeinde, die mehrere Tausend Male größer ist als die Anzahl der Einwohner des Landes. Einen stärkeren Underdog zu finden? Unmöglich.
