Fantagraphics Books ist ein amerikanischer Comicverlag, der alternative Comics, Sammlungen klassischer Comic Strips, Magazine und Graphic Novels veröffentlicht. Unter dem Imprint Eros Comix verlegt Fantagraphics auch pornographische Comics.
Fantagraphics wurde 1976 von Gary Groth und Mike Carson gegründet. Ursprünglich diente der Verlag nur dazu, das Comicmagazin The Nostalgia Journal zu verlegen, das Groth kurz davor gekauft hatte und im Januar 1977 in The Comics Journal umbenannte. Im Sommer 1977 stieß Kim Thompson zu Fantagraphics und wurde bald zum Miteigentümer. Der Sitz von Fantagraphics wechselte in den ersten Jahren oft, erst war das Unternehmen in Washington D.C. angesiedelt, dann in Stanford, Connecticut, dann in Los Angeles, Kalifornien. 1989 kam Fantagraphics nach Seattle, Washington, wo das Unternehmen seinen derzeitigen Sitz hat.
