Palos Verdes ist eine etwa 100 km² große Halbinsel im Los Angeles County südlich von Los Angeles, Kalifornien . Sie markiert das südliche Ende der Bucht von Santa Monica.
Da im Ballungsraum von Los Angeles liegend, ist Palos Verdes weitgehend mit aus Einfamilienhäusern bestehenden Wohnsiedlungen bebaut. Auf ihr befinden sich die Vorstädte Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates sowie am östlichen Rand der südlichste Stadtteil von Los Angeles, San Pedro. Das ergibt insgesamt etwa 70.000 Einwohner.
