Die Yeshiva University ist eine private jüdische Universität in New York City im US-Bundesstaat New York. Die Hochschule wurde 1886 gegründet. Derzeit sind 6.170 Studenten eingeschrieben. 2011 hat sie den 68. Platz nach Times Higher Education Ranking im Ranking der Universitäten der Welt. Zu den ehemaligen Leitern der Universität gehört „The Rav“ Joseph Ber Soloveitchik.
Der Hauptcampus der Universität, der Wilf Campus, befindet sich in Washington Heights im Norden Manhattans. 1928 existierte ein Plan, eine großzügige Erweiterung im orientalischen Stil vorzunehmen einschließlich etlicher Gärten. Durch die Weltwirtschaftskrise 1929 wurde dieser jedoch zunichtegemacht. Durch den Zukauf benachbarter Gebäude konnte die Universität später erweitert werden. Einrichtungen der Universität befinden sich heute in Manhattan , der Bronx, Queens und in Israel.
