Der Cuyahoga River ist ein Fluss im Nordosten von Ohio in den Vereinigten Staaten. Der Name des Flusses ist indianischen Ursprungs und bedeutet in den irokesischen Sprachen Crooked River , wie der Fluss noch genannt wird.
Der Fluss beginnt seine Reise eigentlich in der Hambden Township, wird aber offiziell erst durch den Zusammenfluss von East Branch und West Branch Cuyahoga River in Burton gebildet. Von da an fließt er südwärts nach Cuyahoga Falls, wo er scharf nach Norden biegt, und durch den Cuyahoga-Valley-Nationalpark im Norden des Summit Countys und im Süden des Cuyahoga Countys. Er durchfließt die Städte Independence, Valley View, Cuyahoga Heights, Newburg Heights und Cleveland, bevor er sich in den Eriesee ergießt. Der Cuyahoga River und seine Nebenflüsse entwässern ein Einzugsgebiet von 2.095 km², das sich über sechs Countys erstreckt.
