The Stallental is a side valley of the Inn Valley in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The valley stretches in the southeastern Karwendel over a length of 10 kilometers in an east-west direction between the Lamsenspitze and Stans in the Inn Valley.
From an elevation of about 1200 m above sea level to the Inn Valley, the valley is traversed by the Stallenbach, which forms a gorge in this area. Further up, in the area of the Stallenboden, there is also a streambed, but water only flows here after heavy rainfall. The lower part of the stream gorge is called Wolfsklamm and is accessible via a paid climbing trail. A little above the Wolfsklamm, the Abbey of St. Georgenberg, a monastery and pilgrimage site, sits on a rock on the left side of the valley at 898 m above sea level. The section of the gorge between St. Georgenberg and the Stallenboden is not developed for pathways. At about 880 m above sea level, the Gamsbach, which flows through the deeply cut Gamsgartenklamm, flows into the Stallenbach.
