The sender Patscherkofel is a group of transmission facilities located at the summit of Patscherkofel in the Tux Alps near Innsbruck.
The transmission tower is a 50-meter tall, free-standing steel lattice tower of unusual design, constructed from 1954 to 1958, on top of which a fiberglass antenna cylinder rises to a height of 67 meters. In addition to the main transmission facility, operated by a subsidiary of ORF, ORS GmbH, there are installations from Telekom Austria and other providers, such as Feratel, TETRA radio services, flight radio channels of Innsbruck Airport, and other analog BOS radio services.
