The Yugoslavia pavilion at Expo 58 was an elegant steel-framed building with a glass façade, and was renowned for its futuristic style. At the time, the building inside was completely open. That structure has disappeared, because the space had to be divided into classrooms. The pavilion was designed by the Croatian Vjenceslav Richter, also known as "the architect of the impossible".
Unlike the land, the pavilion still exists. The Sint-Pauluscollege in Wevelgem bought the pavilion in 1959. There it still stands in its original form and is one of the best-preserved pavilions of the Expo 58.
