The St. Catherine's Church is the parish church of the village Zillebeke, which belongs to the municipality of Ypres in West Flanders, located at Zillebeke-Dorp 7.
In 1102, a single-naved chapel was founded. During the 14th century, the chapel was converted into a Gothic church. In 1578, the church was heavily damaged by the Calvinists. In the first quarter of the 16th century, the church was restored. In 1910, the tower was restored under the direction of G. Lernould. During World War I, the church was completely destroyed. In 1923, the church was rebuilt according to the design of Lernould. This was based on the original church, but an additional bay was added.
