Moerbeke is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders and a part of the municipality of Geraardsbergen. In addition to the center itself, there is also the hamlet of Atembeke to the north. The place is located in the Dender region.
In the northeast lies the Raspaillebos, the forest where, among others, the gang of Jan de Lichte is said to have hidden. Cyclists are particularly familiar with the Raspaillebos from the legendary Bosberg that cuts through the forest.
