De Zaligheid is a converted farm that exudes a family and cozy atmosphere. In the bar you can enjoy an aperitif or digestif and the upstairs room, also called the voute, serves as a restaurant. In fine weather, the summer terrace equipped with a playground is also served. The chef, Jean-François, is a former student of Hotelschool Ter Duinen van Koksijde and conjures up refined seasonal dishes on every plate. Speciality is, among other things, eel in green. A sophisticated wine list impresses with a selection of French and world wines that go wonderfully with the dish of your choice. The restaurant is the perfect base to discover the Westhoek extensively: Poperinge, Ypres, Veurne, French Flanders and the West Coast are nearby.
