The island of Waulsort is a small river island located on the banks of the Meuse River, near the town of the same name, in the Waulsort port complex in Belgium. It is easily accessible thanks to the constructed dock and bridge. The island is situated in a rather sheltered area and enjoys plenty of sunshine. The microclimate created therefore promotes the development of certain thermophilic plants. Administratively, it is part of the province of Namur, in the Walloon Region, in southern Belgium. It has an area of 1.03 hectares.
