Ninove is a railway station on line 90 in the city of Ninove. The station has a car park and there are covered bicycle sheds on both sides of the railway. In the course of 2021, the ticket offices here will close their doors and the station will become a stopping place. The old station building dates from 1855. Like the other stations on the lines built by the Dendre-et-Waes, architect Jean-Pierre Cluysenaar was called upon for the design. His station concepts can be divided into three groups; In order of importance, these are the city stations, the rural stations and the 'normal' stops. For Ninove, the largest category was chosen, i.e. a city station. The building was symmetrically constructed and consisted of a high central, 3 bays, section under hipped roof. Typical were the cantilevered turrets with battlements. Both side wings were also under a hipped roof, the left wing was slightly longer than the right wing. The middle section contained service rooms, the left wing housed the waiting room and the goods warehouse on the right. It was built with paepesteen from Boom and bluestone from Soignies.
