De TintelTuin wants to make freinet pedagogy a reality in all its aspects in a contemporary way by offering quality education in an engaging and creative environment. Environmental care at school is not an empty concept for us. The beautiful nature around our school invites you to be consciously involved with MOS. Goats and chickens are kept, cared for by the children via a rotation roll, there is a Tintelmoes Garden with forgotten vegetables and raspberry bushes, there are projects on water pollution and litter. The school also participates in DikkeTruienDag, Walk For Water and from school year 2013-2014 the students themselves participate in a 'GREEN MASTER PLAN' to thoroughly tackle 'the outside'. A walk along the Gete, an expedition through the open fields or visits to the Vinne regularly happen spontaneously as a result of discussion rounds. The TintelTuin thus creates an extremely exciting environment for living learning.
