The castle of Nokere or Castle Casier, named after the owners from the Casier family, is located in the Kasteeldreef in the village of Nokere, part of Kruisem.
The castle dates from before the 16th century and burned down in 1596. It was rebuilt by Mathieu-Xavier de Ghellinck, who had purchased the seigneury of Nokere in 1727. From 1773 to 1783, the two side wings were erected and the castle was given its current classicist appearance. Nearby are a number of service buildings, including a 17th-century gatehouse with a tombstone of Jacob van Gavere and a coach house with an assortment of carriages from the 18th and 19th centuries.
