The Netekanaal is a canal in Belgium connecting the Albert Canal from Viersel to the lower Nete River at Duffel. From beyond, the river channeled continuously towards the Rupel and the Scheldt. The inland port of Lier lies on its bank. It is 15.1 km long and is class IV. The canal offers boats a shortcut from the Albert Canal to the Scheldt and the Brussels-Scheldt sea channel without passing through Antwerp.
