Dommelafvaart

Along the river Dommel, nature is at its best. Between Neerpelt and Valkenswaard (NL) you can sail down the Dommel by canoe or kayak. You pass no less than two beautiful nature reserves. The descent of this winding river is ± 15 km long and the sailing time is approx. 3 hours, not counting any rest breaks. In principle, the participants are responsible for the return to the starting place after the departure. It is best to place a car at the arrival point in Valkenswaard in advance. The transport of the drivers of the cars can possibly be arranged by us before or after the departure You can return by bike to the boarding point via the junctions of the Cycle Route Network.
