Village house with warehouse

Antique shop "Maebe". Building with adjoining warehouse, built according to the land registry in 1884 on behalf of the Desselgem trader Karel Samyn. The land registry records in 1885 the extension of the volume perpendicular to the rear facade. According to the land registry, a new volume was built in 1894 perpendicular to the rear facade of the warehouse. Plastered and red-painted, anchored brick construction of two stories under a continuous, tiled gable roof. Living area with street facade on a plinth partly in imitation stone and with corner blocks as facade boundaries. Rectangular openings on the ground floor, in the living area framed with a keystone and with continuous lintels. Light arched (closed) upper windows on continuous sills.
