Damplein

Damplein is a square in the city of Antwerp located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The square is situated in the neighborhood of Dam, more specifically Dam-West. It is enclosed between the street Viaduct-Dam on the west side and the station Antwerp-Dam and raised railway embankment on the east side. It is an open square, bordered by a cobblestone path to the north and flanked on the south side by cafes, shops, and residential houses. A few plane trees and lime trees beautify the central area, which consists of a paved section with a basketball court, water fountain, and giving cabinet.
